How are we different from other services that help you find cosmetic dentists?

We're the only commercial dental referral service that we know of that carefully screens the dentists we list based on competence in aesthetic dentistry. Even the services that offer referrals to "cosmetic dentists" don't check the credentials or backgrounds of the dentists on their sites-they're listed based upon their payment of a fee. Our service, however, screens all applications based on continuing education courses attended by the dentists, accreditations and professional memberships, and the quality of the work, as verified by photographs of the work. All dentists listed have passed that screening. Dr. Hall personally examines the photographs, and by knowing exactly what to look for, and with his accreditation and connections, he can quickly tell the experts from the pretenders.

To further make it difficult for the consumer, cosmetic dentistry is not one of the nine recognized specialties in dentistry. That means that any dentist, regardless of qualifications, can legally announce that he or she is a "cosmetic dentist." So how do you find cosmetic dentists who are really good? It's hard, and that's why we've started this referral service. The professionals listed here have obtained that additional training required to perform these procedures with skill and artistry.

At mynewsmile.com, most of the dentists listed are actually hand-picked by Dr. Hall. After receiving a request for a referral, He will research the qualifications of dentists in a particular area, check photographs of their work, pick who he thinks is the best cosmetic dentist, call that office, and extend to them an opportunity to be listed.
